A couple of months after the SV Customer Relations Awareness Program in Ascott Hotel Makati, another training was conducted by Saudi Arabian Airlines, this time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ms. Ma. Socorro Ramirez, Sr. CTO Specialist was chosen to represent SV MNL / GSA and partake in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet colleagues from other stations. June 8, 2009 was the official opening of SV Training Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the Director General as guest of honor.

The 5-day program “TKT200 – Advanced Passenger Fares & Ticketing Training” aimed to enhance knowledge in ticketing / fare computation and methodically understand its concept. The training was guided by Ms. Helen Arnell from London, who was commended by Ms. Ramirez for being a “good instructor” and for being “very patient in entertaining repeated questions”. There were a total of 9 participants from different stations, such as Beirut, Sanaa, Karachi, Islamabad, Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur and Manila. When asked about the whole experience, Ms. Ramirez shared that she was very lucky to have the opportunity to participate in a training held out of the country. “It helps the staff member learn not only about her work, but also the places and people she meets which make her grow as an individual’, she added. The training ended June 13, 2009.
