It is truly a distinct honor to be given the task of writing this short but concise employment history of Mr. Cesar J. Rillo on the occasion of his 25th year of excellent service with Travel Wide Associated Sales Philippines. CJR started his career with TWASP in summer of 1981 when he took his 250 hours On-the-Job training as a requirement prior to his graduation. This happened in TWA office, located in Adriatico St. Manila. His OJT with TWA was a good training ground as he learned the basics of airline passenger reservations, familiarization with city airport codes, flight itinerary, request for special meals if any, (class service preference) i.e. first class, business class and economy, transmitting office information via SITA teletype machine. Three months prior to his graduation in January 1982, he was called by TWASP to be a casual employee under the TWA division. He was hired as a regular employee on 26 June 1982. His hiring was in preparation for the on-line flight operation of Saudi Arabian Airlines which commenced on July 02, 1982 (Saudia maiden flight). He held the Passenger Reservations Agent position as his first job and at the same time became the flight controller. As a flight controller he did airport duty to assist at the check-in counter. March of 1984, Cargo Sales Department under the leadership of Mr. Rennan G. Villonco, needed a sales staff as part of the expansion program. CJR applied for the position and was considered as a Cargo Sales Representative selling RBA and Saudia. Six years after, in May 1989 he was promoted and became Cargo Sales Supervisor. A position he held for 11 years. In August of 2000, he assumed the position as OIC for Cargo and subsequently as Manager/Department Head from January of 2001 up to present. His 25 years of trials and triumphs and dedicated service proved his loyalty to the company. Through the years, his unselfish commitment has brought contribution to the growth of Cargo department.
