TWASP Job Opportunities On-Line |
| |
 |
Taking advantage of the advances in the internet and with its extensive audience came the TWASP On-Line Job Application made possible by the joint efforts of the TWASP’s HRD and MIS Department with web developer, Mr. Mark Talahiban.
The jobseeker would need to log on to the TWASP Website, www.twasp.com and head for the Job Opportunities section where a listing of job vacancies and its corresponding qualifications are posted. The TWASP On-Line Application is fairly standard in form as with other on-line applications containing sections of personal information, references, educational background, etc. A “Save and Notify TWASP” button is available to the jobseeker to automatically send his/her accomplished form to TWASP’s HR Department and which can only be accessed by an authorized HRD personnel to ensure the applicant’s information private and secure.
On-line job applications, like with the TWASP ON-Line Job Application, is a preference for most companies nowadays. It cuts costs, saves valuable time and effort. If nothing else, it kills fewer trees.

TWASP, in living up to its commitment to provide venues for skill enhancement and work improvement to its employees, conducted an Advanced Sales Training last 20-21 July 2007 at the TWASP training room. The training was facilitated by Mr. Butch Nayona, an HR/OD consultant of corporate and private organizations. Participants of the said training were account executives and supervisors of the company’s major principals in the cruise (Holland America Lines) and airline industry, both passenger and cargo sales (Saudi Arabian Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines). The sales coordinators from Cebu and Davao provincial sales offices also attended.
The two-day sales training enlightened the participants on how to develop their selling and negotiating skills in their respective industry assignments through focusing on the importance of having a systematic and orderly methodology or process as an individual salesperson, apart from possessing the right attitude and personality in client interaction. Representatives for each department eagerly shared their views and experiences as sales people, which turned to be mutually beneficial to both the facilitator and attendees as the courses of the training were streamlined to the needs of the service-oriented industry.
The sales enhancement techniques training proved to be a fruitful investment of TWASP, being a general sales agent, for its employees most especially to those working for the sales offices of each industry principals.
