A few years back, the airline industry implemented the fuel surcharge. It will only be a matter of time before cruise industries start charging extra too. Due to the rapid increase of the price of oil and gasoline, Holland America Line has announced last year its initial fuel supplement that will apply to all their destinations. The movie produced by GMA films entitled I.T.A.L.Y. (I Trust and LoveYou) was shot entirely in one of the ships of our very own COSTA CRUISES. I.T.A.L.Y. is a heart warming, light movie about the story of destiny, lives and of personal sacrifices made by Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). The cast of the movie had their shooting at the luxurious ship COSTA MAGICA that sailed along places like Savona, Naples, Tunis, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona and Marseille. The movie has a powerhouse cast that include Dennis Trillo, Jolina Magdangal, Eugene Domingo and Rufa Mae Quinto.

MIS Staff Attends Training

Mark Ryan Dayanghirang, MIS Technical Support Specialist, started his training on UNIX/LINUX Systems Administrator. His training commenced last Sept 13, 2008 and will run for 5 Saturdays at the Mapua Institute of Technology, Makati Campus.

His training will include 10 modules that will cover Hardware Device Configuration, File System Management, System Initialization, User Administration, Network Configuration, System Administration Tools, Boot Loaders, Kernel Services, The X Window System and Troubleshooting.
