SAUDIA ARABIAN AIRLINES MANILA PARTICIPATES IN THE 79TH NATIONAL DAY OF KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

As the Kingdom’s flag carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines Manila recently joined in the celebration of the 79th National Day of Saudi Arabia held at the Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel last September 29, 2009. The event was hosted by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia led by Saudi Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Mohammed Ameen Wali. The occasion stood witness to a number of distinguished guests such as top Philippine government officials, politicians, representatives from various international organizations, the business sectors, travel industry, recruitment agencies and members of the press.

Being a major exhibitor of the said event, Saudi Arabian Airlines Manila put up an elegant and professional booth featuring a state-of-the-art video technology showing clips of the airline’s outstanding services as a leading global carrier. Mr. Abdullah I. Alazhari, Manager - Saudi Arabian Airlines Philippines, Mainland China, Japan, S. Korea and Taiwan together with Mr. Ibrahim M. Albatli, Station Manager, warmly invited the guests to the Saudia booth with SV Flight Attendants serving arabic coffee and dates.

The airline’s participation was highlighted by a ceremonial cake cutting led by Mr. Alazhari, joined by Ambassador Mohammed Ameen Wali together with the Department of Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera. Saudia give-aways were also distributed to the guests by SV GSA representatives as compliments and appreciation for the said occasion.

The Saudi Arabian Airlines booth featured a state-of-the-art video screen showing video clips of the airline’s modern fleet and world-class services. The booth was manned by SV Flight attendants who served Arabic coffee and dates.
