CRL department organized a product briefing at the Training room of TWASP office last July 28, 2009. Ms. Kookie del Rosario- consultant for CRL, carried out the program well attended by travel agency representatives and guests.

Ms. del Rosario introduced the guests to a new innovation called the “HAL Online Check-In and Express Docs” a new requirement from HAL head office. Once a passenger completed the Online Check-in and made the final payment and is within 50 days of departure, their Express Docs will be available for them to print. Holland America needs all their guests to complete the online check-in for convenience as it will expedite passenger departure once they reached their port of destination.

Ms. del Rosario also happily announced the arrival of the two new ships, Costa Pacifica and Costa Luminosa.

As a cordial gesture of brotherhood and camaraderie in the spirit of the holy season of Ramadan, Saudi Arabian Airlines Manila headed by Saudia Country Manager – Phils., Mainland China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, Mr. Abdullah I. Alazhari sponsored an Iftar Party last 27 August 2009 held at the function hall of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia Manila.

Guests from various sectors and offices were invited to join the Iftar party which included top Saudi Embassy officials, government agencies, owners of local recruitment agencies, youth student groups and a provincial Muslim orphanage community.

As soon as the actual time for Iftar came, Mr. Abdullah Alazhari led the guests to a buffet table where sumptuous collections of Arabic cuisine were prepared. While everybody was enjoying their share of the dinner, the guests were treated with the angelic voices of the little boys of Dar Amanah Children’s Foundation who performed a medley of Islamic songs.

Everyone who attended the Iftar party was very much delighted with the generosity and hospitality shown by Saudi Arabian Airlines. The event attested to the important social role of Saudia in the observance of Ramadan season in the Philippines.
