Sir Onat's 30th Anniversary

| Have you heard of these lines: “refund po ba?”, “saan po binili ang ticket?” If yes, then you know who I’m talking about. |
| Mr. Ronaldo B. Moreno, or Sir “Onat” as we fondly call him celebrated his 30th anniversary with the company last August 16, 2009. This very hardworking man is a graduate of Philippine School of Business and Administration (PSBA) with a degree in Accountancy. He was hired by Travel Wide way back August 16, 1979 and started as a clerical staff and made his way up as a Senior Accountant for Revenue Accounting of the Finance Department. |
| According to him, he was able to work with almost all of the airlines principals handled by Travel Wide like Trans World Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Grand Air, Aloha Airlines, Canadian Airlines. At present he handles Saudi Arabian Airlines, China Airlines and the Ethiopian Airlines doing the passenger and cargo sales reports and processing ticket refunds. |
| Looking back, Sir Onat described his most unforgettable experience with Travel Wide at the time of the Gulf war. He said that all issuance of tickets were suspended for almost two (2) weeks. At that time, he thought it was the end of his career in Travel Wide, but despite the economic turndowns, they have survived. |
