As the year 2009 dawns a new beginning for everyone, it was rather hyped negatively by predictions of continuing economic and social unrest across the country. As it is, we may expect people’s dreams to be laid dormant, hopes to falter and desires to remain stagnant. Travel Wide employees, being the travel professionals that we all are, should be confident that we will be heading towards only one direction this year, as we carry our company’s battle cry for 2009, “Together, we move forward”.

Our company slogan should be a source of inspiration and motivation for all of us this year. “Together, we move forward” gives every employee that secured feeling of belonging and a firm sense of unity, while encouraging everyone to work collectively with renewed vigor and spirit. Moving forward not only means moving on, but it as well serves as an invitation for us to leave our old selves behind and open new avenues for improvement. We move forward when we commit ourselves to outdo and get better over what we are able to achieve last year. It’s about giving new dimensions and meaning on how we do and perceive our respective job assignments. At the same time, it’s an attempt to instill professionalism among us in an effort to uplift work quality and company productivity. As we set our company goals this year, it serves important to remind ourselves that whether we achieve them or not, what matters most is that we all stood together to move on, forward to a new set of possibilities.

Let four simple yet meaningful words make 2009 a fruitful year for all of us. It’s something that we will be identified to, as Travel Wide employees, something that will set us apart from the rest of the pack.
