TWASP's Crazy Hat Party!!

Travel Wide Associated Sales Phils., Inc. celebrated its annual Christmas dinner last 04 December 2009 with the theme “Crazy Hat Party”. The theme required everybody to come wearing their crazy hat. The hosts for the night were Ms. Vicky Pajarillaga, Supervisor for SV Reservations and Mr. Cesar Rillo, Manager for Cargo Sales. To officially start the party, our Chairman and CEO Mr. Felix P. Mabanta Jr. gave his opening remarks. Mr. Mabanta announced the retirement of Mr. Jesus Jaime Carrillo and Ms. Eden Hipos come 2010. Mr. Mabanta also informed the employees that Ms. Eden Hipos will be staying on as a Consultant for the Finance department. The opening remarks was followed by the much-awaited new hires presentation led by Tolits Luba (Senior Systems Analyst). Together with Tolits were Nelson Grabador (Technical Support Specialist), Ryan Jay Yap (Account Executive – SV Sales), Jacqueline Santos (Tel. Operator/Receptionist), Jeannie Rose Jovenes (Accountant), Karen Diana Lim (Reservations Agent), Charlotte Tamayo (Optns/Rsvns Agent – CRL/ET Sales), and Jeriel Mallari (Optns/Rsvns Specialist – Cargo). While enjoying a sumptuous dinner prepared by Queensland Catering, 22 lucky people were called to receive gift checks worth P500. Awards were also given to employees with outstanding attendance record.
The Christmas party committee 2009 added some new attractions for the night, aside from the raffle draw, open-mic night and games were added to the program. Mr. Jourdan Dimatulac, Ms. Tonette Sol Cruz and Mr. Ryan Jay Yap serenaded the crowd with songs like "Beautiful in my Eyes", "Runaway" and "Later". Fun games were also played. Notable crazy hat attendees were Ms. Vicky Pajarillaga who wore a squid headdress, Ms. Annie Valdes who wore a lion headdress, Mr. Ronaldo Moreno who wore a “Matang Lawin” inspired hat complete with real quail eggs and Ms. Jean Ner who wore a Christmas tree hat. Our President and COO, Mr. Rennan G. Villonco gave the closing remarks.
