On March 16, 1976 Travel Wide Associated Sales Philippines (TWASP) was appointed as the General Sales Agent in the Philippines after the company's review of the first five years development plan of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

A Bilateral Air Services Agreement was forged between the two flag carrier's namely Philippine Airlines and Saudi Arabian Airlines on March 1982. The two airlines were authorized to operate scheduled services to and from the Kingdom and the Philippines on reciprocal frequencies. In July 1982, Saudi Arabian Airlines flew-in and marked its first touchdown on the Manila International Airport.

In 1985, TWASP was the recipient of the AGENCY AWARD from Saudia Arabian Airlines in the Far East for Best Sales Performance. The following Year it received the SERVICE AWARD for ten(10) years of continous business association. In 1987 TWASP was given recognition as Saudi Arabian Airline's Outstanding GSA in the International Division.

To date, Saudi Arabian Airlines operates 10 flights weekly from Manila, 4 times weekly to Jeddah, 7 times weekly to Riyadh and 3 times weekly to Dhahran.
